General Surgery Opportunity in Kansas

Primarily outpatient practice focus. Bread and Butter surgeries along with Endoscopy. When on call respond to Trauma at our Level 4 Trauma/ER.  This is an employed position with a guaranteed base salary and full benefits package (see below). This Surgeon will be joining another well-established General surgeon who has been in the community for over 10 years. This opportunity focuses on a great life/work balance with a 4-day work week, 5 weeks of PTO per year, and 1 week of call per month, with low call back volumes

Compensation and Benefits Detail

• $450,000 - $500,000 base salary


• $12,000 Relocation allowance


• Sign on bonus - $10,000 per year of commitment


• $24,000 per year student loan repayment


• $4,000 CME per year


• Pay for malpractice, license, DEA and required certificates outside of CME.


• 5% contribution to 401 K


• 6 weeks off per year

About the Practice and Area:

• Also has a primary care clinic with 10 FP physicians and 12 APPs


• ER is staffed by the group along with 3 full time APPs


• Community based, private, not for profit critical access hospital with 25 beds


• Alos has a family practice clinic and long term care facility


• Located in a rural community of 5,570 people in Northwest Kansas
