• Schedule: Flexible shifts; days, evenings, and nights available

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based Emergency Department


• Level III Trauma Center


• Advanced Practice Provider and scribe support


• Dedicated specialty treatment areas


• Collaborative multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a broad spectrum of emergency medical conditions


• Perform emergency medicine procedures, including moderate sedation


• Provide trauma stabilization and resuscitation as needed


• Collaborate with emergency physicians, advanced practice providers, specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary teams


• Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or qualifying equivalent experience


• Active Indiana medical license


• Active Indiana DEA and applicable controlled substance registration


• Current BLS certification


• Recent emergency medicine experience


• Case logs available for credentialing
