Description
Advanced Practitioner inpatient only Nocturnist position very close to Pittsburgh and Cleveland. This position focuses more on admissions and floor call cross-coverage overnight. The Nocturnist APP performs assessments, diagnoses, and manages treatment plans for hospitalized patients. This includes performing physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with the rest of the healthcare team. Play a critical role in-patient and family education and discharge planning.. 144 hours of PTO per year, reimbursement for OH license and DEA as well as $2500 CME per year.. Rate is $65 per hour for nights. Rounding: Perform daily rounds on patients to monitor their progress, respond to any changes in their condition, and modify treatment plans as needed.. Admission and discharge: Complete timely patient admissions and discharges, which includes writing discharge summaries and preparing patients for transition to outpatient or follow-up care.. Previous experience in acute care preferred.. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with knowledge of acute and chronic illnesses.. Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic tests and medical data.. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills.. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, MediTech experience preferred.. Strong adaptability and organizational skills to manage multiple patients and tasks under pressure.. Commitment to high quality, patient-centered care.. 45 minutes to Pittsburgh, 2 hours to Cleveland.
