What You’ll Do
- Perform acute hemodialysis treatments for hospitalized patients, including ICU and medical-surgical populations
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis treatments
- Monitor treatment response, vascular access, and patient stability throughout procedures
- Collaborate with nephrologists, hospitalists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document all treatments and patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and dialysis best practices
- Foster a compassionate, team-oriented environment while delivering patient-centered care
What You Need
Required:
- Current RN license in Tennessee or a Compact State
- Minimum of 2 years recent acute dialysis experience
- ICU dialysis experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (ARC or AHA only)
- Proficiency with all dialysis vascular access types
- Competency with Tablo Hemodialysis System required
- Ability to work independently and manage patient care autonomously
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and assessment skills
