Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 4 days per month, 7a-3p plus beeper call
• Job Setting: Hospital - CT Surgery Department
• Types of Cases:
  • 10-15 CVICU/step-down patients per day, plus 1-2 surgeries
  • Special procedures include temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, and A-line placement
• Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing: 30 days

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Licensure: Active Arizona Physician Assistant license
  • DEA required
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with proficiency in Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting (EVH)
