Key Responsibilities
•  Implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising OTR
•  Provide direct patient care, including but not limited to the following
o  Therapeutic exercises
o  ADL training
o  Adaptive equipment training
o  Environmental modification
o  Behavioral regulation
•  Education with family on therapy techniques for carryover at home
•  Completing documentation, daily treatment notes, and progress notes.
•  Maintain infection control, safety, cleaning of materials/rooms used, and equipment
•  During co-treatments, the in-person therapist is responsible for bringing the proper equipment for the tele-therapist to engage in the session.
•  Attend team meetings
•  Follow state regulations, facility policies, and OT scope of practice.

Skills

Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current state COTA license in good standing.
Current CPR certification (preferred or required).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Pediatric experience is preferred
