Medical direction model with supervision ratios up to 1 to 4

Ambulatory focused case mix including general and orthopedic cases

No OB, trauma, cardiac, or thoracic cases as outlined in the order details

Peripheral nerve block proficiency required due to orthopedic volume

Responsibilities include pre anesthesia assessment, discussing anesthetic options and risks, induction, maintenance, emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions as neededRequired Qualifications

MD or DO

Board certified in Anesthesiology

Active Pennsylvania medical license required to present

Completion of an approved anesthesia residencyAdditional Requirements

Provider must reside more than 60 miles from the worksite

Compact licenses are not accepted; an active Pennsylvania license is required to presentCredentialing

Estimated privileging timeframe is approximately 180 days, with potential accelerated privileges for urgent coverage needs as outlined in the order detailsTravel and Lodging
