Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 7-day assignment in Maine, commencing Aug 19, 2026. This role involves comprehensive care for patients of all ages, including wellness checks, along with vital support for our EMS crew during 911 medical emergencies. The focused 8am-1pm schedule provides flexibility to manage emergency responses which may include patient transport via ferry, boat, or small plane, with the autonomy to reschedule appointments as needed.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including wellness checks and management of various ailments.
  • Support the EMS crew on all emergency calls.
  • Respond to 911 medical emergencies, including patient transport to the mainland for transfer or ER drop-off.
  • Facilitate patient transportation, which may involve ferry (in ambulance), boat, or small plane.
  • Exercise discretion to reschedule appointments as needed during emergency call-outs.
