Description
We are seeking a Cardiology Critical Care Physician Assistant for a 28-day assignment in West Virginia, commencing Sep 21, 2026. This role involves covering 7-14 night shifts per month, each lasting 13-14 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM. You will manage complex critical care cases including ECHMO, Heart Transplant, bronchoscopies, chest tubes, A-Lines, C-Lines, Balloon Pumps, and Swans, in addition to performing intubations and handling nightly admissions and consults.
Responsibilities and Duties - Work 7-14 shifts per month.
- Cover typical 13-14 hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM/8:30 AM.
- Manage a diverse range of critical care cases, including ECHMO, Heart Transplant, bronchoscopies, chest tubes, A-Lines, C-Lines, Balloon Pumps, and Swans.
- Perform intubations, with a dedicated respiratory team providing support.
- Handle an average of 1-2 admissions and 1-2 consults per night.
