Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient thoracic surgery care, including pre- and post-operative evaluations


• Assist with inpatient management as needed


• Collaborate with surgeons and the advanced practice team to coordinate patient care


• Evaluate, treat, and monitor thoracic surgery patients


• Support care for patients with general thoracic surgical conditions


• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

• Physician Assistant


• Active New Jersey PA license


• NCCPA certification


• Experience in thoracic surgery or a related surgical specialty preferred


• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
