A healthcare organization in Massachusettes is seeking a Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment. This inpatient opportunity provides onsite NICU coverage during weeknight and weekend shifts while caring for neonatal patients in collaboration with the neonatal care team.

- Contract: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–8:00 AM; weekends 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Coverage: Onsite
- Temporary Privileges: Available
- EMR: Cerner
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for neonatal intensive care patients
- Perform neonatal assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing management
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary NICU team
- Manage admissions, daily rounding, and patient documentation
- Respond to changes in patient condition and deliver evidence-based neonatal care
- Document patient encounters using Cerner
Requirements
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification
- Board Certified
- Neonatal fellowship or advanced neonatal training preferred
- Experience providing inpatient NICU care
- Ability to obtain facility privileges
- NPDB report required with submission
