Overview

A healthcare organization in Southwest Missouri is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endovascular Neurosurgeon for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This opportunity is dedicated to endovascular neurosurgery call coverage with no clinic responsibilities.

Assignment Details

• Setting: Inpatient


• Start Date: As soon as credentialed


• Contract: Ongoing


• Coverage: Approximately 7–10 days per month


• Schedule: 24-hour in-house call (7:00 AM–7:00 AM)


• Call: Endovascular neurosurgery call only


• EMR: EPIC


• Temporary Privileges: Available

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 endovascular neurosurgery call coverage


• Evaluate and manage emergent neurovascular cases


• Perform endovascular procedures as clinically indicated


• Take patients directly from call to the operating room or interventional suite when necessary


• Collaborate with the stroke team to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery


• Fellowship training in Endovascular Neurosurgery preferred


• Hospital privileges required


• Ability to provide immediate response while on call
