An award-winning independent community hospital serving central and southern Vermont is adding a Hematology/ Oncology Physician. This is the second-largest hospital in the state.

About the Opportunity:

• Full-time position to join a well-established and collegial oncology practice with one other Physician, 2 Physician Assistants, and a Radiation Oncologist
• This community-based program offers the best of both worlds: the supportive, relationship-focused environment of a rural practice with strong affiliations to a regional academic medical center, providing access to specialty tumor boards, research opportunities, and teaching. 
• Established referral network of primary care and specialty relationships
• Collaborative team including oncology-certified nurses, pharmacist, social work, and advanced practice providers
• Call averages one weekend a month (low-volume call, mostly telephone triage)
• Access to academic tumor boards, subspecialty consultation, and multidisciplinary care pathways
• Modern infusion center and onsite support services
• EMR integrated with regional partners
