Deliver Emergency care services in a state-of-the-art 12-bed Free-Standing Emergency Department.

About the position:

• 12-hour shifts with four physicians/day and APPs covering 10-hour shifts.
• Two 12-hour physician shifts/day and APP coverage as volume requires.
• Rotations between the main ED and FSED are expected, though exclusive FSED coverage may be considered.
• Main ED: 42 beds with dedicated high-acuity, moderate, and less-acute zones.
• FSED 12 beds with full lab, X-ray, CT, and ultrasound capabilities.
• Technology: Cerner EMR with Dragon Dictation for efficient charting.
• Level III Trauma Center
• Over 50,000 annual ER visits
• Low Transfer Rate: ~2% - Admission Rate: ~25%.
