Facility Overview:
Our client is a leading public hospital in New York City, serving the Bronx community with a full range of healthcare services. This role is based in the Interventional Radiology Department, offering cutting-edge image-guided treatments and procedures.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to support minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. The technologist will assist physicians during procedures using specialized angiographic equipment, administer contrast agents, and ensure patient safety throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain angiographic and interventional radiology equipment
Assist with balloon angioplasty, stenting, and other image-guided procedures
Prepare and position patients while ensuring safety and comfort
Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
Maintain accurate procedure documentation and patient records
Comply with infection control and radiation safety standards
Collaborate with the radiology and clinical care teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in interventional radiology, including angiographic equipment, angioplasty, and stenting
Valid Radiologic Technologist License issued by the NYSDOH
Out-of-state licenses accepted if candidate is willing to obtain NY licensure post-offer
BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced-Level ARRT Certification in one of the following (must have at least one):
ARRT (CI) – Cardiac Interventional Radiology
ARRT (CV) – Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
ARRT (VI) – Vascular Interventional Radiology
Familiarity with Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
Ability to work weekends and adapt to a fast-paced environment

MMR
Hepatitis B
