What You’ll Do
- Provide routine and complex perioperative nursing care in the operating room.
- Support cardiovascular (open-heart) cases and general OR procedures as needed.
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately.
- Use CVOR and EPIC charting systems; minimum of two years’ experience required.
- Assess patient needs, provide education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and care quality.
- Participate in team efforts to manage contingencies and improve patient outcomes.
What You Need
Required:
- RN license in Texas or compact state
- BLS certification (AHA)
- At least 1 year of OR nursing experience with CVOR and EPIC charting proficiency
Preferred:
- Cardiovascular (open-heart) surgery experience
- Ability to support general OR cases
