What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality patient care in a busy ICU setting for adult and geriatric patients
- Monitor critically ill patients using advanced technologies like ventilators, pulmonary artery catheters, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer complex medications and treatments, including chemotherapy and clinical trials
- Perform specialized procedures such as chest tube placement, arterial pressure monitoring, and bronchoscopy/endoscopy support
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond quickly to emergencies, including sepsis, respiratory distress, and neurological crises
What You Need
- Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact multistate license
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
- Proficiency in ventilator management, IV starts, and computerized charting (EPIC)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to rotating schedules
