What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care in a PCU setting, managing complex cardiac and post-surgical patients
- Administer medications, including titratable drips (with manager approval if required)
- Monitor and respond to patient needs, utilizing EMR systems such as Meditech Expanse
- Support patient assessment, prioritization, and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, RT, OT, PT, ST, and house staff
- Follow all hospital protocols and standards of care
- Maintain patient safety and comfort through high-quality nursing practices
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- 2+ years of recent acute care RN experience, preferably in PCU or MedSurg
- BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work night shifts and participate in every-other weekend rotation
