What You’ll Do
- Provide urgent care for adult and pediatric patients (ages 6 months and up)
- Manage high patient volume independently, handling all aspects of care
- Perform minor procedures such as lac repairs, ear irrigation, and others
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and charting
- Collaborate with support staff, including medical assistants and center managers
- Maintain excellent patient interactions and soft skills
- Adhere to all credentialing and clinical training requirements
What You Need
- Active North Carolina medical license and NC DEA registration
- Minimum of 12 months experience in urgent care
- Board certification: NCCPA for PAs or Family NP certification for NPs
- Proficiency in Epic EMR
- BLS certification
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong soft skills
- Willingness to participate in mandatory training on Wednesdays prior to initial shift

This position is based at a busy urgent care center in Salisbury, NC, serving both adult and pediatric patients. The provider must be comfortable managing a high volume of diverse cases, equipped to operate as the sole provider on site. Support staff includes center managers, medical assistants, and supervising physicians. The facility offers a fast-paced, patient-centered environment focused on delivering high-quality care efficiently.
