What You’ll Do:
- Provide expert care to cardiac ICU patients, including ventilator management and advanced cardiac interventions
- Monitor and manage patients with Swan-Ganz catheters, balloon pumps, and PA lines
- Administer conscious sedation and respond to emergent situations swiftly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in Epic and other EMR systems
- Float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed
- Adhere to hospital policies and uphold patient safety standards
What You Need:
Required:
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2+ years of ICU experience, specifically in Cardiac ICU environments
- EPIC EMR experience
- Skilled in IV insertion, telemetry, ventilators, Swan Ganz, balloon pumps, and conscious sedation
Preferred:
- Travel nursing experience
- Experience with complex cardiac procedures and devices
About the Assignment:
This assignment is at a major hospital in Columbus, Ohio, offering a fast-paced, supportive environment for experienced CVICU RNs. You will work predominantly night shifts with some weekends and holidays required, providing critical cardiac care to a diverse patient population.
