What You'll Do
- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Room, utilizing your nursing expertise.
- Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Use the nursing process to evaluate patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare laws and regulations.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including infection control and occupational hazards.
What You Need
Required:
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Additional clinical specialty certifications
