- Experience: Minimum 2 years inpatient RN experience; oncology experience preferred but not required
Pay & Benefits:

What You’ll Do:
- Provide advanced patient care for medical oncology and surgical patients
- Monitor and record patient status using B450 monitors and GE telemetry systems
- Administer chemotherapy, manage IV fluids, and operate PCA pumps
- Assist with infection prevention protocols and fall precautions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
- Float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed
- Document and communicate patient progress effectively
What You Need:
- Valid Ohio RN License
- Minimum 2 years inpatient nursing experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to rotating schedules, including weekends
Preferred:
- Previous oncology experience or travel nurse background
About the Assignment:
This position is based in a mixed acuity PCU and MS Tele unit caring for adult oncology patients, including those with solid tumors and blood cancers. The unit emphasizes infection control and patient safety. Pediatric care is rarely provided and not required. The facility provides opportunities for professional development, including chemotherapy training courses.
