What You’ll Do
- Provide high-level nursing care to oncology and telemetry patients on a 36-bed PCU unit.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret ABGs, and manage dysrhythmias.
- Administer medications, including chemotherapy, and manage IV pumps, heparin, and insulin protocols.
- Utilize advanced equipment such as telemetry monitors, infusion pumps, and ventilators.
- Respond to patient emergencies, utilizing rapid response teams.
- Ensure infection prevention, fall prevention, and patient safety protocols are followed.
- Float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed.
What You Need
Required:
- Ohio RN License
- 2+ years of experience in high-acuity PCU, Med-Surg, or ICU settings
- BCLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
- Skills in cardiac monitoring, IV management, and critical care procedures
Preferred:
- Oncology experience (not required but preferred)
- Experience with chemotherapy, wound care, or advanced airway management
