What You'll Do
- Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care
- Assist in preoperative and postoperative patient management
- Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain sterile techniques
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC electronic health record system
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures and intervene as needed
- Support quality improvement initiatives and best practice standards
What You Need
- Current RN license in Louisiana or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 2 years’ CVOR nursing experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
