What You’ll Do:
- Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with cognitive and/or physical disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Administer therapy procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and modalities
- Assess patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Document treatment accurately and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with health team members to ensure optimal patient care outcomes
- Support patient and family education regarding treatment plans and therapies
- Supervise and support students under the guidance of the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and in-services as required
What You Need:
- Active State Licensure/Registration (if applicable)
- Minimum of 1+ years OTA experience in Long Term Care preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of regulatory and clinical practice standards
