What You’ll Do
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for long-term care residents
- Conduct therapeutic interventions such as exercise, massage, gait, and balance training
- Document patient progress and report findings to supervising physical therapists
- Promote patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate records aligned with facility procedures
- Support diverse patient needs within LTC setting to enhance mobility and quality of life
What You Need
- Valid PTA license in Texas or the relevant State
- Prior experience working in long-term care facilities preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable transportation and ability to start promptly
