What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments of patients’ speech, language, and swallowing functions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, therapists, and physicians
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Document clinical notes and progress reports accurately
- Comply with facility policies, state and federal regulations
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and progress
What You Need:
- Valid Missouri State License or eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience in Long Term Care or similar settings (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to varying patient needs and facility protocols
