What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patients' physical, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, developmental, social, and cognitive functions using formal and informal assessments
- Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance
- Collaborate with physicians by submitting written treatment regimens and updating plans as necessary
- Coordinate treatment schedules with patients, families, and support staff
- Educate patients and caregivers on conditions, treatment options, and prognosis
- Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, aides, and students according to standards
- Contribute to patient recovery through therapy modalities, rest, exercise, and interventions
What You Need
Required:
- Active OT license in Michigan
- Minimum 1 year outpatient OT experience
- Strong assessment and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings
- Supervision experience
