What You’ll Do
- Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans following regulatory and clinical standards
- Administer therapeutic interventions, including ADL retraining, exercises, modalities, and assistive device use
- Monitor patient progress, modify treatments, and document outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
- Provide discharge summaries and detailed documentation in electronic health records
- Participate in patient care conferences, meetings, and training sessions
- Support and supervise occupational therapy assistants, aides, or students
What You Need
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (state of Missouri)
- Experience working in Long Term Care or similar settings preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Adherence to NBCOT/AOTA practice acts and ethical standards
