JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Surgery; FNP with ANCC or AANP certification
  
• Licenses: Active Texas License
  
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS required
  
• Experience: Residency trained in specialty required
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency department coverage as a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant in a high-volume ED setting.
  
• Manage patient care for approximately 78 patients per day in collaboration with attending MDs and APP team.
  
• Work various shift schedules including 9a-9p, 1p-1a, and 12p-10p as assigned.
  
• Perform emergency medicine procedures and stabilization per scope of practice.
  
• Document all patient encounters comprehensively using Medhost EMR system.
