What You’ll Do
- Provide inpatient hematology and oncology care for hospitalized patients
- Support staff and collaborate with the healthcare team in managing patient treatment plans
- Administer hematology procedures and assist with patient assessments
- Document patient interactions accurately in EPIC EMR system
- Manage a patient load of approximately 11–16 patients per day across all ages
- Support the development of the hospital's bone marrow transplant program
What You Need
Required:
- Active Minnesota license
- Board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
- Experience with benign and malignant hematology cases
- BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred:
- Strong hematology focus and familiarity with inpatient care
- Ability to do temp privileges if background is clean
- Comfortable supporting hematology procedures at a level required for inpatient services
