Description
Our client in Maine is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant to join their team for a 60-day assignment starting Oct 12, 2026. This role involves covering the outpatient clinic from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on timely charting and collaborating effectively with support staff.
Responsibilities and Duties - Cover the outpatient clinic daily from 8 AM to 5 PM
- Ensure timely and accurate charting of patient records
- Collaborate effectively with support staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide care for a diverse patient population including adults, newborns, infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents in an outpatient setting
- Deliver well-woman care
- Manage general outpatient cases
- Perform orthopedic procedures such as incision and drainage (I&D), address common musculoskeletal problems, administer trigger point/joint injections, and apply splints
Additional Information - Board Certifications required: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine
