What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric patients on a high-acuity surgical-oncology unit
- Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and IV antibiotics
- Manage oncologic emergencies and cytokine release syndromes
- Monitor lab values and manage insulin and Heparin drips
- Follow infection prevention protocols and support fall prevention initiatives
- Float within scope when needed, supporting team needs with flexibility
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic charting system
What You Need
- Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license or appropriate license for Ohio
- At least 2 years of current experience in a similar acute care setting
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (preferred ONS Chemo certification)
- Key skills: patient assessment, medication administration, emergency response, teamwork, adaptability
