Locum Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity

Join a well-supported pediatric hospital medicine team with flexible scheduling and a collaborative practice environment. This ongoing locum opportunity offers both day and night shifts with comprehensive specialty support and a manageable patient census.

Position Highlights:

12-hour day and night shifts available
Flexible scheduling, typically requiring a minimum of one week per month
Ongoing coverage beginning June/July with initial 3- or 6-month assignments and the option to extend
Expedited credentialing available for physicians with a clean background and no malpractice history

Practice Details:

Full support staff
Day shifts include physician supervision; night shifts are solo coverage
No deliveries or NICU coverage
Intensivist and neonatologist on-site 24/7
Average patient volume:
Days: 7–9 patient encounters
Nights: 5–6 patient encounters, often fewer
Access to a full complement of pediatric subspecialists
EPIC EMR (training provided or competency testing available for experienced users)

Additional Information:

Credentialing typically takes 90–120 days
Travel, lodging, and rental car provided
Professional liability insurance included
1099 independent contractor opportunity
