What You’ll Do
- Evaluate patients’ skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular function through formal and informal testing
- Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Collaborate with physicians to submit and update treatment plans as patient conditions evolve
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding conditions, prognosis, and treatment options
- Devise treatment schedules and coordinate with clinical teams
- Support patient progress through evidence-based interventions and therapy modalities
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
What You Need
- Valid PTA license in Michigan
- 1+ years of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
