This specialty hospital in Texas, which opened in 1998, is devoted to cardiac care. It provides a full range of cardiovascular services and a comprehensive 24/7 emergency department. Discipline: PT
Shift: 7:30am to 4pm
Weekends: rotating every 3 to 4 weekends
· Number of Beds -72
· Number of Staff – 2 PT 1 OT PRN ST
o Day Shift – example 1 charge 3 RN 2 CNA and 1-3 sitters
· EMR –Meditech
· Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? Y/N –Y 1 FT PT
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· Acute care experience including ICU/CCU as may be the only PT on weekends
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· Wound care—preferred but not necessary
·
List typical procedures performed on units:
· Open heart/TAVR/LVAD implants
·
Best personality Fit:
· Respectful of manager patients staff attention to safety friendly/caring manages time/attendance independently
· Able to participate in high level of coordination and communication throughout day
Dress Code: Include requirements but most of all not acceptable attire.
· Scrub Color - carribean blue or khaki bottom/navy polo
