Schedule

• Ongoing locum coverage
• 8- and 10-hour weekday shifts
• 16-hour weekday beeper call
• 24-hour weekend beeper call
• Weekends desired
• Preferred commitment: One week at a time, including scheduled shifts and call
• Flexible call schedule with the ability to swap call assignments as the schedule evolves

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Fellowship trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology (ACGME)
• ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license
• DEA required prior to start

Clinical Practice

• Pediatric surgical cases only
• Neurosurgery
• Orthopedics
• General Surgery
• ENT
• Neonates through adolescents
• Average daily case volume: <20 cases

Procedures

Providers should be comfortable performing:

• Regional blocks
• Caudal blocks
• Pediatric spinal anesthesia
• Epidurals
• Other pediatric regional techniques
