Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) (Locum Tenens)

Location: Georgia

Schedule: Shift-based schedule; details provided during screening

Position Overview

Emergency department APP coverage in a collaborative EM model. Providers should be comfortable managing a broad spectrum of acute presentations and working alongside physician coverage.

Clinical Scope

Emergency department evaluation and management

Acute care procedures consistent with scope and site capability

Collaboration with physician and nursing teams

Required Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Georgia NP license (and RN license) or active, unrestricted Georgia PA license

National certification (AANP or ANCC for NP; NCCPA for PA)

DEA registered to Georgia address if required for prescribing in this role

Current ACLS and PALS (ATLS or trauma equivalent may be required per site)

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify

Credentialing and Onboarding

Credentialing may require recent case logs and CME documentation

Credentialing timelines vary by site
