Travel Registered Nurse – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) – Santa Fe, NM

- Experience: Preferred two or more years of RN experience in PACU or similar unit
- Schedule: 4 days/week (Monday–Friday), with weekend and on-call requirements

- Hourly Pay Rate: $54.94/hour

What You’ll Do
- Provide patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, ensuring safety and comfort for patients recovering from anesthesia
- Conduct initial patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate patient responses to treatment
- Develop and implement individualized care plans within unit standards
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to coordinate patient recovery and discharge processes
- Perform Point of Care testing and document interventions accurately in EPIC EMR
- Assist with patient and family education related to postoperative recovery
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
What You Need
Required:
- Valid New Mexico RN license or Compact State License
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum two years of recent RN experience in PACU or related surgical recovery unit
Preferred:
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
