What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients
- Monitor vital signs and adjust treatments as needed
- Administer medications and interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans
- Comply with hospital policies and safety protocols
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work day shifts (8 hours)
Preferred:
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of critical care equipment and procedures
About the Assignment
This assignment is at a well-respected hospital unit with 20 beds, caring for adult critical care patients. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:2. Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable. Travelers residing within 50 miles of Pittsfield are not eligible for this assignment.
Please note, all travelers must upload their Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License with their profile, and include their availability for the assignment. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted; ensure any time off is noted upfront.
