Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Float to Medical-Surgical units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Serve as a charge nurse when required, providing leadership and guidance to team members.
Required Skills:
- Valid RN license with current certification.
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, with charge-capable skills preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Travel experience is essential.
- AHA NIHSS certification and 6 CEUs on Stroke-related topics prior to start.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in a charge nurse role.
- Additional certifications related to critical care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Prior experience in a hospital ICU setting, preferably with travel assignments.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical units when needed.
- Ability to start by 03/30/2026.
- Must be willing to work night shifts.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay rate of $28.00 plus a weekly per diem of $1246.00.
