We are seeking an Optometrist Physician for a 90-day assignment starting Nov 1, 2026, in Louisiana. This clinic-based role focuses on primary eye care within the Department of Ophthalmology, involving a Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM schedule with no weekends. The position offers a close working relationship with ophthalmologists and support from specialists across the health system.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide primary eye care within the Department of Ophthalmology, Section of Optometry.
- Manage a clinic-based position.
- Work closely with ophthalmologists.
- Receive support from specialists and sub-specialists throughout the health system.
- Experience in contact lens practice and ocular disease is preferable.
