Assignment Details
• Location: Peoria, Illinois
• Start Date: October 1, 2026
• Practice Setting: Children's Hospital
• Ongoing part-time coverage
• Reason for Coverage: Team growth and physician leave

Compensation:
Night Call Back - $585/hr
24 Hour Call Back - $585/hr (to include 6 hours gratis)
Night Call - $780/day
24 Hour Call - $3895/day

Schedule
• Approximately one weekend (4–5 days) per month
• Thursday evening through Monday morning
• 24-hour call coverage
• 30-minute response time
• Flexible scheduling based on provider availability

Clinical Details
• 100% pediatric patient population
• Full scope of Pediatric General Surgery
• Collaborate with four Pediatric General Surgeons
• Dedicated inpatient and outpatient Advanced Practice Nurse support
• ECMO-certified center
• Level I Trauma Center
• Level III NICU
• Annual surgical volume exceeding 1,100 pediatric cases
• EMR: Epic

Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric General Surgery
• Active Illinois medical license or willingness to obtain one
• DEA required
• Illinois CSR required
• PALS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Comfortable managing the full spectrum of pediatric general surgery cases
• Strong collaborative team approach

Credentialing
• Approximately 60 days
• Full and temporary privileges available"
