What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations with oncology diagnoses such as breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers
- Monitor telemetry to track patient vital signs and responses to treatment
- Manage patients receiving antineoplastic chemotherapy and other complex treatments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement infection prevention protocols and ensure patient safety
- Adapt to floating assignments across MedSurg Oncology units based on unit needs
- Participate in patient education and transition planning for oncology care
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Ohio RN license or compact license
- BLS certification
- At least 2 years of recent experience in MedSurg/Oncology or Telemetry nursing
- Ability to interpret telemetry and monitor patient cardiac rhythms
Preferred:
- Oncology certified (ONS Chemo)
- Previous travel or agency nursing experience
