What You’ll Do
- Provide skilled nursing care to a 31-bed mixed acuity unit supporting medicine services
- Manage stepdown and med/surg patients, including those requiring CPAP/BiPAP and med titrations
- Document care accurately in EPIC EMR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Support float requirements within the OSU organization as needed
- Maintain charge responsibilities on nights and demonstrate clinical competence in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring
What You Need
- Ohio RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent PCU or med/surg experience
- Comfortable with CPAP/BiPAP, med titrations, and charge duties
- Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and teamwork attitude
