Augusta, Maine: A respected 190-bed nonprofit medical center is ready to hire a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its Behavioral Health team on their main campus, just 50 minutes from Portland.

This is a full-time position offering a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, providing an opportunity to build a broad and rewarding clinical practice. You will care for adults (18 and up) with acute psychiatric needs and/or medical detox, while also supporting continuity of care as patients transition between inpatient and community-based services.

You will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team including Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, nurses, social workers, and mental health professionals delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of behavioral health services.

This position includes weekday inpatient coverage along with participation in a weekend rotation supporting a 30-bed inpatient unit. The organization emphasizes teamwork, provider support, and long-term career satisfaction in a well-structured environment.

•  Salary range: $120K - $170K, based on experience
