Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Surgeon for a part-time locum tenens opportunity to help fill a coverage gap in Ohio. This assignment is ideal for a provider seeking flexible inpatient coverage while working alongside a collaborative team with APP support.
Overview
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma Level I Center
- Average inpatient census: 12
- Average inpatient patients per day: 12
- Pediatric patient population
- 15-minute new patient visits
- 15-minute follow-up visits
- Admitting and rounding required
- Work alongside residents/fellows
- APP support available
- APP supervision/collaboration required
- Sole physician provider during assigned coverage
Requirements
- Active Ohio state medical license
- DEA required
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Surgery
- Ability to respond to callback within 30 minutes
