What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to diverse ER patients, including trauma, stroke, pediatrics, psychiatric, and geriatric cases
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, treatment, and ongoing care
- Assess and address the psychological and social needs of patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Delegate appropriately and manage contingencies for a fast-paced ER environment
What You Need
- Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
- Minimum of 1 year of ER nursing experience (preferred)
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
