What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care for oncology patients on a Medical Oncology/Pediatric PCU unit
- Monitor high-acuity patients using GE telemetry systems and specialized equipment
- Administer and manage IV therapies, blood products, and chemotherapy (additional experience preferred)
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to rapid response calls
- Manage invasive lines, drains, and ventilator support as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, quality patient care
- Float within units of similar or lower acuity as required
What You Need
- Valid Ohio RN license; BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
- At least 2 years of high-acuity nursing experience, preferably in oncology or telemetry
- Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV management, and complex patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
About the Assignment
This role is based in a specialized Oncology Telemetry unit with over 24 beds dedicated to PCU nursing, caring for oncology and pediatric patients with complex needs. The unit emphasizes infection control and patient safety, supporting high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Night shifts schedule can include days, nights, or a rotation based on staffing needs, offering flexibility for qualified candidates.
