Seeking an Acute Care NP to join a Neurocritical Care team at a Joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center

The successful candidate will perform admissions, histories, physical exams, ongoing patient assessments, daily rounding, and ICU procedures (arterial lines, central lines, and intubation). The Neuroscience program uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide a range of services to include diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders.

The Neuroscience team takes great pride in their patient and family-centered approach to care, which promotes optimization of patient outcomes.

• Hospital privileges at a level 1 trauma center
• Multidisciplinary team including 9 neurosurgeons, including 3 dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, a neurointensivist, neurologists, a neuro-oncologist,  neurohospitalists, 12 NSICU ACNP’s/PA’s and 4 Stroke NP’s/PA’s
• 24-bed NSICU led by Neurointensivist
• Large rehab center providing both inpatient and outpatient support to neurology patients
• Supervising physician is an experienced Neurointensivist
• Excellent mentorship and orientation programs
• Inpatient only; No call
• 24/7 service will include some nights and some weekend shifts
• Integrated EMR is EPIC
